Hello and welcome to the practice of Gail Roeshman, LCSW. Thank you for your interest in me as your provider. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I have Masters degrees in Social Work, Art Education, and Special Education as well as certificates for Clinical Supervision, Thanatology (Palliative and Hospice Care) and Play Therapy.
I have been an Adjunct Instructor in Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley, both online and onsite, providing coursework in several higher education settings, teaching special education, assistive technology, and supervising para-professions in the field.
Special Education has been a focus of my mine for many years, as are the issues that stem from a disability that are impactful: low self esteem, depression, and anxiety. Disability reaches beyond skill deficit and impacts social systems. Providing disability supports serves as an important adjunct to treatment.
Additional important areas of focus in my practice have been in the arenas of divorce, family dynamics, and life transitions. The complexities of relationships and long lasting impact of change creates a constellation of challenges that benefit from support, objectivity, and understanding.
